My name is Kieryn and I will be working with Kaniere School to comment on your blog posts over the next two terms.
Well done on creating such a fantastic blog post about being a food detective! It is so cool how Jess was able to come and visit your class, and I am glad to hear how much you enjoyed her visit!
Reading the ingredients in pre-packaged foods can be very surprising and shocking, especially when you are looking at the amount of sugar there is in different drinks. I see that in the images you have provided there are a multitude of drinks on a table, and small containers next to them.
Were looking at the amount of sugar included in each drink?
If so, were you surprised by what you found out? Why/why not?
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
You mentioned how Jess showed you how to find out how much sodium and sugar are in certain foods. What do you need to do in order to work this out?
You have done an awesome job on this blogpost! Keep up the great work!

  3. Hi Deegan,
I used to take my class to the supermarket to read the food labels. I was surprised to learn that there was so much sugar in tomato sauce! What were you most surprised by? What have you been learning about while we are in lockdown? It would be great to see some of your work on your blogpost. I will check in again soon and can't wait to read all about it.
